WELCOME TO THE SIXTH ANNUAL HARTFORD AREA BURGER BATTLE CHALLENGE!

Hartford area restaurants Main Street Humboldt Bar, Big J's Roadhouse, The GOAT Bar & Grill, Dugout Sports Bar & Grill, Dairy Queen, and the Hartford Steak Co. Tavern are facing off all January! They are going head to head to prove to you that they have the best burger in 2024! BUT WAIT, it gets even better! YOU get to be the judge.
 
Here’s how it works:
• Visit the participating restaurants and try their special burger.
• Download the chamber's app - Discover Hartford - this is where you will submit your votes.
• Post a picture of your burger on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and tag #HartfordBurgerBattle to enter into the weekly drawing for $25 Hartford Bucks!
• At the end of January, the burger with the highest average score wins claim to the “Best Burger in the Hartford Area”

The Contestants:

Big J's Roadhouse
#Foghorn, This is a Philly Cheesesteak Burger - 1/2 pound hand pattied 80/20 chuck topped with pepper Jack cheese, steak bits, sautéed onion, mushrooms, peppers, jalapeños, then finished with beer cheese drizzled on top, (Mayonnaise) on bun.
 

Dairy Queen
Backyard Bacon Ranch Signature Stackburger - "The build: 100% seasoned real beef patties topped with Honey BBQ sauce, housemade Hidden Valley ranch dressing, crispy golden onion rings, applewood smoked bacon, perfectly melted White Cheddar served on a soft and toasted bun".

Dugout Bar & Grill
The Comeback Burger - Description is: burger pattie, cream cheese jalapeno popper with raspberry sauce and jalapeno jam.

Hartford Steak Co. Tavern
Prime Time Double Dipper - Happy New Year!  We are DIPPIN into 2024 presenting our Prime Time Double Dipper!  This is our in-house fresh ground patty, topped with our slow roasted shredded prime rib, smothered in a white cream sauce, with sauteed green pepper and onions- all served on a bun- accompanied with our infamous Au Jus- For Dipping!  Available every Sunday thru Thursday in January!  Cheers!

Honolulu burger - Hawaiian bun, 81/19 ground chuck burger, Bourbon sauce
Sliced ham, Smoked Applewood bacon, Sliced pineapple, American cheese

Main Street Humboldt Bar
"Massachusetts Todd Burger" - named after Humboldt's own traveling troubadour, Todd Casilli, who is teaching our staff how he makes this mouthwatering burger. It starts with a juicy beef burger, liberally seasoned with a flavorful blend of spices, herbs and seasonings unique to the Massachusetts area, topped with Munster and white cheddar cheeses, a fried egg and served on a lightly toasted bun.
